Arthur-Berlin : Tanja Schomaker

Tanja Schomaker completed cultural studies at the Universität Hildesheim and studied fine arts in Hannover and Berlin. Since 1993 she is working for several art projects and cultural institutions. As an art educator she was working for Documenta11 and also for the 3rd berlin biennial for contemporary art. For the 1st Berlin Photography Festival oganized the visitor services of the exhibition After the Fact at Martin-Gropius-Bau. As Head of Education, Tanja Schomaker was responsible for the educational program of the Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin, including Mondays Bar. From 2010-2011 she was actively involved in Salon Populaire. Since November 2011 Tanja Schomaker works as Assistant of Prof. Mathilde ter Heijne at the School of Art and Design Kassel.
